INDIANAPOLIS -- IMPD homicide detectives are investigating after a man was shot to death on Indianapolis' northeast side Saturday evening.
Just before 5:30 p.m.,police were called about a reported shooting in the 4100 block of Tahoe Court.
Officers found an unresponsive male lying next to a motorcycle. Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Detectives believe the shooting is a result of gang violence.
Due to the holiday weekend, police patrols have increased in the city to prevent gang violence.
The identify of the victim has not been released.
