INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are looking for a suspect after a person was shot on the west side.
IMPD was called just after 10:15 a.m. Sunday to a home on Debello Court, near the intersection of West 21st Street and Country Club Road. Police say a man was shot in the leg, and that a search for a suspect is underway.
Officers on the scene say a man knocked on the door of the house, but that the man inside refused to let him in. The victim says the man outside fired at least three shots through the door before running away. Police referred to the victim's condition as "guarded" - he was taken to Eskenazi Hospital.
