INDIANAPOLIS -- A person was struck and killed while repairing a vehicle on I-70 Wednesday afternoon.

It happened just before 1:30 p.m. near the Rural Street exit.

According to Indiana State Police, Marc Cook, 30, was responding to a disabled pickup truck on the right shoulder when a Ford Expedition struck the rear of his repair van. The force of the crash pinned Cook between his van and the pickup truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
