INDIANAPOLIS -- Peyton Manning's legacy in Indianapolis goes far beyond the football field.

Many people call Lucas Oil Stadium the house that Manning built.

Then there is Peyton Manning Children's Hospital.

The PeyBack foundation is still based in Indy.  In 2015, the foundation gave more than $75,000 to 22 Indiana charities.

Another $5,000 went to help the kids at East Tenth United Methodist Children and Youth Center just east of downtown.

"He really made himself a transplanted Hoosier and that was one of the great things - he means a lot to the city. He means a lot to so many people - there are so many people who don't even realize how much of a benefit they're getting from him," said Robert Singer, East Tenth United Methodist.

Besides charitable work, Manning also has business interests in Indy. He was one of the initial partners in Harry and Izzy's.
