INDIANAPOLIS -- The Pike Township School Board voted Thursday night to accept thepenalties imposed by the IHSAA following a brawl during a basketball game between the Pike High School girls' basketball team and the team from Ben Davis on January 16
The IHSAA canceled the rest of the season for both teams, suspended them from post-season play and the teams were also put on probation for next season.

While the school board accepted the terms, the members decided to send a letter to the IHSAA commissioner to express concern with the overall process that's being used to implement sanctions on schools.
The letter, which you can read below, was submitted to the IHSAA commissioner on Friday.
