MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. -- A plane with one person aboard made a hard landing in a Morgan County field Tuesday night.
Morgan County Sheriff Robert Downey said the plane was believed to be an ultra-light.
The plane came down in a field about 75 yards off Hess Road, just east of State Road 37.
The pilot of the plane wasn't believed to have been seriously injured.
Indiana State Police and the FAA were investigating the crash.
