Police arrest one after narcotics, guns found in Indianapolis north side home

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis police and SWAT team found 11 grams of cocaine and two handguns after they arrested a man on Indianapolis’ north side.

IMPD detectives and SWAT served a search warrant in the 100 block of W. 23 Street just before 9 p.m. on Friday. Outside the residence they found their target, 23-year-old Dominique King, who was immediately arrested.

King was armed with a handgun during the time of the arrest.

IMPD detectives and SWAT found the follow items inside the home:

•             11 grams of crack cocaine

•             Undisclosed amount of marijuana

•             .22 caliber handgun

King was preliminarily charged with dealing cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case and make a final charging decision.
