BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- A Bloomington mother was behind bars Thursday for allegedly leaving her children at a library for eight hours.
One of Genelle Collay's kids called 911 when the library began closing because he couldn't find his mom.
Police said the three children were all under than age of 9, and were all dropped off at 10:30 a.m. that morning.
When Collay did show up for the children, she told police she didn't have to tell them any information about herself because it was a security risk.
She also reportedly started screaming when she was placed in handcuffs, yelling to her kids to record everything on their phones.
Collay is now facing preliminary charges of child neglect.
