INDIANAPOLIS -- A police chase ended in a fiery crash on the south side of Indianapolis early Thursday morning.
The incident began just after midnight when somebody called police about a suspicious vehicle.
When police ran the license plate, it showed the car was stolen. Police tried pulling the car over, but it took off.
It crashed and caught fire a short time later near the intersection Meridian Street and Epler Avenue.
The driver of the car ran, but was taken down by a K-9.
Only the driver was arrested for fleeing the scene.
