INDIANAPOLIS—Indianapolis police called out the city's SWAT team to a house on the southwest side Thursday afternoon.
That followed the discovery by police of a body inside the house in the 1500 block of South Concord Street.
The location is near South Tibbs Avenue and West Minnesota Street.
A public information officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said something inside the house prompted officers to request SWAT and a negotiator.
After about two hours, tear gas was fired into the house, after which police determined nobody was hiding inside.
Police say the dead person in the house is believed to be an adult.
