Police: Ex-employee fires shots at Fishers business

FISHERS, Ind. -- An ex-employee was arrested after he fired shots into the air in the parking lot of a Fishers business on Thursday morning.

Fishers Police Department officers were called to the Nugistics digital commerce office in the 9900 block of NE Boulevard around 10 a.m.

Witnesses told police that Jarrel Brown, 19, was fired from the business that morning and had fired a gun into the air in the parking lot. They told police that Brown had left in a gray Dodge car. 

Police located Brown within minutes of the report at a nearby ATM. He was taken into custody without incident. 

No one was injured and police say no property was damaged. 

Brown is charged with criminal recklessness with a gun and criminal mischief.
