INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has identified a man shot and killed in his driveway on Thursday.
Police were called to the 3300 block of N. Sherman Dr. for a report of a person shot around 12:09 p.m. When they arrived, they found Anthony White, 37, next to a truck in his driveway with a gunshot wound.
EMS officials pronounced him dead at the scene.
After talking with witnesses, IMPD detectives learned that someone may have been in the truck with White before the shooting. Detectives do not believe this is a random shooting, but the details are still under investigation.
