SHELBYVILLE — Police located a dead body on Saturday morning outside of an elementary school, according to the Shelbyville Police Department.
The body of Jonathan Kirby, 34, was found on the outside of Thomas A. Hendrick Elementary school in the back, according to SPD Public Information Officer, Lt. Michael Turner.
The Shelbyville man was pronounced dead due to self-inflicted injuries.
