UPDATE: The Marion County Coroner's Office has identified the person found dead in Fall Creek on Tuesday as Keith Parks, 54. The cause and manner of death remain under investigation.
INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police are investigating after a body was found in Fall Creek late Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, a person walking along the creek saw the body floating in the water.
Police got the call to 4400 East Fall Creek Parkway North Drive just after 4 p.m. The location is near North Keystone Avenue and Binford Boulevard on the northeast side.
A team of crime lab technicians joined police officers and detectives at the scene along the banks of Fall Creek, and the Marion County Coroner will determine the cause of death.
