MONROE COUNTY, Ind. -- An investigation is underway in Monroe County after a man's body was found at a home on Bloomington's south side.
Deputies responded Monday to a house on Old State Road near South Walnut Street.
The victim was identified as Donald Gentry, 66.
His death is being ruled a homicide by blunt force trauma to the head, but there are no details on exactly what weapon was used in his death.
While investigators don't believe this was a random attack, those who knew Gentry are in mourning and wondering just how safe their community is.
