UPDATE: Police say Ellen Carr has been located and she is safe.

INDIANAPOLIS — Police are asking for help finding a missing 79-year-old Indianapolis woman.
According to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Ellen Carr was last seen at 2 p.m. Wednesday. IMPD described Carr as a white female who is 5-feet-1-inch tall, weighs 140 pounds and has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Carr left her house Wednesday to go to the Walmart location on 96th Street, but she has not returned home.
