A Columbus woman was arrested Sunday after forcing her way into a home – resulting in sword vs. shovel fight with a resident.
Audrey C. Davis, 18, was preliminarily charged with felony residential entry Sunday. Police said she forced her way into a home on the 1000 block of 9th Street after being told to leave.
Davis allegedly grabbed a shovel and pushed her way inside, at which point one of the residents inside the house grabbed a sword and was able to force the intruder back out.
Once outside, police said Davis used the shovel to break several windows on a vehicle owned by one of the residents of the home.
Police arrived a short time later and took Davis into custody.
