Two men were arrested Thursday in connection with the armed robbery of more than 600 narcotic pills from a Miami County nursing home.
Caleb Sullivan, 23, of Lafayette, was arrested on charges of entering the Bunker Hill Assisted Living Facility in a ski mask and demanding pills from a locked cabinet where narcotics were stored. Police said Sullivan purportedly stole 642 schedule II narcotic pills, which includes painkillers like fentanyl and oxycodone.
Sullivan was reportedly fired from the facility in July.
Another man, 24-year-old Wallace Taylor, of Peru, Indiana, was also arrested and charged with driving the getaway vehicle.
Both suspects were booked into Miami County Jail.
