INDIANAPOLIS — Police released a sketch of a suspect a year after the shooting death of a Dollar General clerk on the northeast side.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Brian Eure, 41, was shot and killed May 27, 2018 in the 5400 block of Emerson Way after the suspect announced it was a robbery and Eure hit the panic button.

Dollar General also announced Monday it is extending its $10,000 reward for information leading to the suspect's arrest and conviction. The chain said information must be received within 12 months or by May 27, 2020 to be eligible for the reward.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 317-262-TIPS.
