INDIANAPOLIS—Indianapolis police responded to a serious shooting on the city's east side, early Thursday afternoon.
A crime scene was established surrounding the Marathon gas station at the busy intersection of East 10th Street and North Arlington Avenue.
One person was shot there. Police quickly fanned out over the area looking for at least one suspect.
The victim's condition was described as "critical."
