HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. -- A Fishers woman was arrested Thursday after police say she stole money from the Girl Scouts.
The Noblesville Police Department began an investigation into possible theft from the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.
The initial allegation suggested that several thousand dollars had been taken by one person responsible for overseeing several accounts belonging to the Girl Scouts.
After an investigation, officers with the Criminal Investigations Division were granted four arrest warrants for Heather Rebecca Van Voorhis, 45.
She was arrested at her house Thursday night and taken to the Hamilton County Jail.
She faces four counts of theft, a Level 6 Felony.
