WAYNE TWP., Ind. -- A woman who was thought to have drowned in Wayne Township has been located.
Rescue crews were called to the Island Club apartment complex around 2:30 Friday afternoon.
A witness told authorities that a woman jumped into the water following a domestic dispute and she didn't come back up.
About an hour later, divers received information that police were investigating a sighting of the woman nearby.
They soon got word that she had been located.
The 38-year-old woman was checked out by EMS and found to be in good condition.
She was taken into custody by IMPD.

Police located the 48-year-old woman around 3:30 pm at the apartment complex. She was not in the water.
Authorities say she will be evaluated by EMS.
