PLAINFIELD, Ind. -- There could be a major break in the case against threats made against Plainfield High School.

Thursday, a new post from the person who has apparently been making the threats, says they were all fake.

That person claims he hacked the iCloud account of a Plainfield student that he never met or had contact with.

He says all of the threats were fake and that he never once considered carrying them out.

He also taunts the police saying the case will never be solved and that he lives an ocean away.

At this point, RTV6 cannot confirm if any of this is true.

Police say this latest post does nothing to halt or even change the case of their investigation. The case is open, active, and the search is still on.
