INDIANAPOLIS — The 10th consecutive day of protests in Indianapolis started early Sunday.

At 5:30 a.m., protesters gathered in the parking lot of North United Methodist Church at East 38th and North Meridian Streets to begin the "Wake Up for Black Lives" vehicle procession.

With horns honking, music playing and chants of "No justice, no sleep!", they drove north to a neighborhood near East 82nd and North Pennsylvania Streets to make sure people away from downtown their calls before heading back south.

The protest came a day after thousands came together for demonstrations against police brutality that began with a massive sit-in at the Indiana Statehouse and eventually moved into the streets as people marched through downtown.
