INDIANAPOLIS -- An 8-week-old puppy died after she was found in a dumpster on the city's northeast side Friday.
According to Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside or FIDO, the puppy was found in a dumpster by people living in an apartment complex near 30th Street and Sherman Drive.
On the way to the vet, the puppy died.
Her name was Angel.
FIDO, with the help of people wanting to contribute, is offering a $810 reward to the person that provides information on who left the puppy in the dumpster.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Mayor's Action Center at 317-327-4622 or email iaccenforcement@indy.gov.
