PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. -- One person was killed when a truck struck a car in Putnam County late Monday afternoon.
The accident happened just north of Greencastle on U.S. 231 near the Putnam County Fairgrounds.
Deputies with the Putnam County Sheriff's Department say it was raining when a southbound truck lost control as it was going down what is known as "Waterworks Hill."
Truck struck a car and the driver of that car was killed.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
