BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Over 3,000 Oscars have been awarded since 1929, and you can visit five of them right here in Indiana.

Indiana University’s Lilly Library is home to dozens of rare cultural treasures, including four of director John Ford’s Oscars.

The awards were donated to the library by Ford’s grandson, Dan.

Dan has also authored a book about his grandfather called "Pappy: The Life of John Ford."

The library is also home to the Oscar won by Bloomington’s Howard "Hoagy" Carmichael in 1951 for his song “Here Comes the Groom.”
