Richmond Hill: Opening statements begin Thursday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Opening statements begin Thursday morning in the trial of accused Richmond Hill Explosion conspirator Bob Leonard. 

The jury in Fort Wayne will begin to see the enormity of the case on day one as prosecutors show them the aftermath of the fatal explosion.

And for the next six days, jurors will hear from firefighters who responded to the neighborhood, the homeowners of Richmond Hill who survived, and the fathers of Dion and Jennifer Longworth, the young couple killed. 

They will also hear the 911 calls from frantic people who felt the blast throughout the Indianapolis area.

Jurors are expected to report to the courthouse at 8:00 a.m. Thursday.
