RICHMOND, Ind. -- A Richmond mom was arrested after allegedly leaving her two-year-old in the car while she shoplifted at a Meijer.
Ashley Doolin, 27, has been preliminarily charged with child endangerment, theft, possession of a schedule I, II, III or IV controlled substance, possession of stolen property and criminal conversion.
Officer Ron Pennington said at the time the two-year-old was removed from the car, the air temperature was between 10 and 15 degrees.

Police say the child had been alone inside the car for 20 to 30 minutes and was not wearing a coat.
In Doolin's car, police found about $800 worth of stolen merchandise from Meijer, a loaded stolen handgun and prescription pill bottles that did not match her name.
Doolin posted bond and was released from jail.
