But despite overwhelming GOP control, there is little consensus on issues lawmakers will deal with when the 2016 legislative session begins.
Lawmakers say debate will focus on how to fund Indiana's poorly rated roads, what to do about systemic issues with the state's ISTEP test and whether to grant civil rights protections to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
