NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- Though it's late in the season, one Noblesville hospital is seeing an uptick in flu cases.
To combat the virus, Riverview Hospital has put temporary restrictions in place for overnight visitors.
Starting Monday, the hospital will not allow any visitors except immediate family, partners or significant others. Nobody under the age of 16 will be allowed to visit.
The hospital will also ban visitors if they have flu-like symptoms.
Doctors say they've seen an increase in flu cases all over Central Indiana and that it's better to be proactive rather than reactive.
