WEST LAFAYETTE — They really are doing futuristic things up at Purdue University these days. And it's not just in the classrooms.
Like a scene out of a sci-fi movie, you can now get food delivered by a robot at the tap of a phone button.
Monday was the first day that 'Starship Deliveries' rolled out its fleet to deliver food from any restaurant anywhere on Purdue's campus.
Through an app, you order your food and watch on a map as the robot brings it to you so you can unlock it and get your food.
Each robot can carry up to 20 pounds and usually makes its trips within minutes.
