Rory Feek returns to Tennessee

INDIANAPOLIS -- Rory Feek has followed his wife's wishes and returned home.

Joey Feek died last Friday after succumbing to cervical and colon cancer. She was 40.

She wanted Rory and her daughter, Indiana, to return to the family farm in Tennessee after she passed away.

Also on the Facebook page which chronicled Joey + Rory's journey, he posted this picture with the caption, "...making plans that I hoped we would never have to make."

Joey told Rory that she would like to be buried in a “rough-cut” wooden box with a cross on the front. She wanted the casket to be made from wood from their family farm. She told Rory to pick “a good spot” in the family cemetery with enough room for him to one day be placed next to her.
