INDIANAPOLIS -- Indy has a burger week and now we have a pizza week!
Through August 21, you can sample pizzas created by local restaurants and chefs for just $8.
Indy Pizza Week, the brainchild of alternative weekly NUVO, is a fundraiser for Second Helpings, a non-profit that "rescues" food waste from stores and restaurants to help feed people in need.
Participating restaurants include Broad Ripple Brewpub, HotBox Pizza, Bebop Pizza Kitchen, Bazbeaux and Diavola, among others.
