Santa appearances, holiday activities in Indianapolis

FRANKLIN, Ind. -- With the holidays right around the corner, now is the time to tell Santa what's on your wish list.

Before you start thinking about planning your trip to see Mr. Claus, you should know something.

International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas is a national organization made of "Mall Santas" and very special Santa helpers.

Obviously, the real Santa gets busy this time of year and needs help getting to all those stores and events.

The "Hoosier Santas" is the Indiana chapter in that organization, and they do a lot of charity work and events across the state. They also get together once a month all year round.

The chapter has about 250 members, and this includes some "Mrs. Clauses."

Wednesday, some members of the chapter were found doing a little "inspection" before the holidays. You can watch them in the video player above.
