INDIANAPOLIS—Santa Claus hitched a ride Friday to the Children's Museum of Indianapolis and he did it in a most unusual manner.
No sled for Santa this time. Instead he arrived aboard an Indy Racing Experience two-seater with 2013 500 winner Tony Kanaan at the wheel.
Santa then headed inside the museum to the 47-foot Yule Slide where he joined the Chorduroys singing group for a holiday sing-along.
Families who attended the big holiday festivities at the museum were also treated to elves rappelling from the building's roof.
The museum's Jolly Days Winter Wonderland continues until January 5, 2020.
