MARION COUNTY, Ind. -- A student and a bus driver were injured in a crash involving a Decatur Township school bus on Wednesday.
The crash happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Kentucky Avenue and Mann Road.
According to Decatur Township Schools, there were five young students on the bus at the time of the accident. They were going home from an after school program.
"Student safety is our top priority," said the spokesperson for the schools.
One student and the bus driver were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. The school district says they do not appear to be life-threatening. No other students were injured.
Police have not released any information about the second vehicle involved in the crash.
