INDIANAPOLIS – With just two more weekends until Christmas, several post offices across Indiana will open on Sundays to help customers ship any last minute items.
More than 30 Indiana post offices will open on the following Sundays: Dec. 4, Dec.11 and Dec.18.
The US Postal Service expects to deliver about 16 billion cards, letters and packages during the holiday, a 12 percent increase since last year.
The following Indianapolis area post offices will open on Sundays:
- Castleton: 8710 Bask Street
- Nora: 1300 E. 86th Street
- Park Fletcher: 2760 Fortune Circle East
- Southport: 171 E. Edgewood Avenue
