A semi-truck hauling a trailer full of cars caught fire Monday afternoon – sparking a massive blaze that shut down westbound traffic on I-70.

The fire occurred after 6 p.m. near the 98-mile marker on I-70 WB, just east of Mt. Comfort.

INDOT said traffic was expected to be affected until at least 7:30 p.m.
