INDIANAPOLIS — One person was seriously injured in an early-afternoon accident Wednesday on the Indianapolis northeast side.
Police had to shut down busy south Keystone Avenue near East 62nd Street when an SUV was hit by a furniture delivery truck.
Police at the scene said the SUV was pulling out from a car wash onto Keystone when it was hit by the truck, sending the SUV into a utility pole.
The driver of the SUV, who was the only person injured in the accident, was rushed to a hospital.
