A Central Indiana couple who pleaded guilty earlier this year to bestiality was sentenced Monday to 18 months of probation.
Nikki Murphy-Johnson,33, and Eric Johnson, 38, both of Shelbyville, were arrested last year when police say they used an iPod to record encounters with them and the dog -- named "Lucky."
Police in Virginia came across the video on a website and tracked it back to Anderson where the couple used to live. Local police were notified and the pair was arrested.
The couple pleaded guilty in August to three counts of bestiality, a level 6 felony.
Under the terms of their probation, the pair must undergo a mental health evaluation and may not own any pets for the duration.
