Shooting victim found at I-465/I-70 interchange

INDIANAPOLIS -- A shooting victim was found at the I-465/I-70 interchange Saturday night.

Police say they believe the victim, who was a passenger in a vehicle, was shot twice in the back near the 3000 block of Acoma Drive.

According to officers, the driver headed toward the interchange of I-465/I-70 before help arrived. 

The shooting victim is stable but in serious condition at Eskenazi Hospital.

The driver was also taken to the hospital to be treated for cuts.

Police have not released ages or names of the people involved.

There is no suspect information available at this time.
