SHIPSHEWANA, Ind. -- It's not quite fall but all the signs are starting to point in that direction this weekend as some of the first corn mazes of the season begin to open up.
One corn maze in northern Indiana has a unique design celebrating the state’s upcoming 200-year anniversary.

The Shipshewana Corn Maze opens Friday, September 2.
If you're looking for something a without the long drive, there are several corn mazes opening up in the next few weeks a little closer to Indianapolis.
Exploration Acres in Lafayette is also celebrating Indiana's Bicentennial with their sleek design. Their 18-acre corn maze is boasted as the largest in northwest Indiana - they will be open Thursdays thru Sundays starting September 15.
Beasley’s Orchard in Danville is celebrating the 50th anniversary of “It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." Their maze opens September 9
Or you can drive over to Hogan Farms in Brownsburg where they're encouraging people to get out and vote this election season. Their corn maze opens September 24.
Marilyn's Crazy Corn Maze in Noblesville hasn't revealed their secret this year, but they've given fans a clue of what type of maze to expect with a one word clue 'Medieval'. Their maze will open starting September 30.
And you could always visit the corn maze at Piney Acres Farm in Fortville. They open on September 24.
