Silver Alert issued for missing 14-year-old Lafayette boy

UPDATE: The Silver Alert for Steven Kalbaugh has been canceled, according to Indiana State Police.

LAFAYETTE — A statewide Silver Alert was issued Thursday evening for a 14-year-old Lafayette boy.

According to a release from Indiana State Police, the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office is looking for Steven Kalbaugh. He is 5-feet-10-inches tall, weighs 175 pounds, has brown hair with light brown highlights and blue eyes and was last seen wearing no shirt and blue shorts.

Kalbaugh was last seen at 2:30 p.m. Thursday and is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
