Silver Alert cancelled for missing southern Indiana man

HOLTON — A Silver Alert has been cancelled for a missing southern Indiana man after he was found safe.

The Indiana State Police were looking for Bryan Eugene Smith, a 51-year-old white male who is 5-feet-6-inches tall, weighs 230 pounds and has brown hair with blue eyes.

The alert was issued Sunday evening and cancelled Monday.

Smith was last seen wearing a black hat with "SECURITY" written in white letters, a black and orange jacket, black khaki-style pants and black Adidas shoes with "ADIDAS" in white letters.

Smith was missing from Holton, Ind., which is 77 miles southeast of Indianapolis. He was last seen at 4 p.m. Oct. 15.
