INDIANAPOLIS — The latest of the new roundabouts on the Indianapolis southeast side opens Saturday, according to the Department of Public Works.
And two days later on Monday, workers will begin another roundabout project—this one at Five Points Road and Stop 11.
Both locations are in Franklin Township, an area of the city, along with neighboring Perry Township, where outdated intersections are being replaced with the traffic circles to better handle increased traffic from new housing developments.
The Five Points Road/Stop 11 work is expected to take three months at a cost of $2.4 million.
Detour signs will be posted during the project.
