A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for an 83-year-old man missing from Avon.
Avon Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Clarence Mahurin who is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
Mahurin is described as being 6 feet 1 inches tall and 183 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a beige Dale Earnhardt baseball cap, plaid button down shirt (red, white & blue), khaki colored dress pants and suede house slippers.
Mahurin was last seen driving a 2008 burnt orange Dodge Ram pickup truck with Indiana handicap plate D251EU. The vehicle has chrome wheels, running boards and gas cap.
