JENNINGS COUNTY — A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Jennings County man who is believed to be in danger.

According to a press release, the Jennings County Sheriff's Office is investigating the disappearance of Brian K. Kirby. Kirby is described as a white male, 52, 5-feet 9-inches tall with red hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing an orange knitted toboggan, gray sweatshirt with "Tennessee" in white letters and blue jeans.

The sheriff's office said Kirby is missing from North Vernon, 67 miles southeast of Indianapolis. Kirby was last seen on Saturday, March 28 at 11 p.m. Deputies said he is believed to be in danger and may require medical assistance.
