INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis police arrested a suspect this week in the September 2015 murder of 27-year-old Joshua Thomas.
Cory Woody, 42, was arrested on preliminary charges of murder and robbery resulting in serious bodily injuries.
He's accused of fatally shooting Thomas on September 25, 2015, on the 4700 block of Crestview Avenue.
Officers were called to the area for a report of gunshots. They arrived to find Thomas dead inside an SUV with apparent gunshot wounds.
Woody was already being held at the Indiana Department of Correction on unrelated charges.
