MUNCIE — A 25-year-old Muncie man died early Thursday when his vehicle wrecked during a police chase outside Muncie in Delaware County.
Devan Twilley died at the scene of the wreck, according to the Delaware County Sheriff's Department.
Chief Deputy Jeff Stanley said Twilley broke into a home in Gaston and threatened the woman who lived there. She locked herself in a bathroom and called 911. Twilley was coming out of the house as Gaston police arrived.
There was a high-speed chase and Twilley lost control of his vehicle at State Road 28 and Walnut Street. The vehicle rolled over several times and Twilley was ejected.
